In August, Geoconnexion International's editor visited Cadcorp's offices in Stevenage, UK, to find out more about what Cadcorp SIS[R]--Spatial Information System[R] is capable of, and how the company has reacted to (open source) GIS mashups with, for example, virtual globes such as Google Earth[TM]. One of the 58 Technical Members of the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc.[R] (OGC[R]), Cadcorp fully supports the development of interoperable geospatial standards produced by this international industry consortium.
