LEXINGTON, Ky. -- With less than three weeks to prepare the University of Kentucky for its first exhibition game, first year head coach Billy Gillispie figures that the Wildcats' might look a bit ragged at times.
After all, the players are still getting to know their new leader who was hired in April to replace Tubby Smith and still learning what is expected of them.
So given the time constraint, Gillispie can live with early mistakes as long as his players give a maximum effort that exemplifies his motto of, "play hard, play smart and play together."
