French composites group, JEC Group, has formed an alliance with Chinese composites association China FRP Institute, organizer of the China Composites Expo trade show. Part of this alliance has been to assess innovation in China, via a competition and awards, a process started in 2005.
Now in its third year, JEC has announced the 12 Chinese composites innovations that have received awards in two categories: Raw Materials and Applications.
In the Raw Materials category, the winners are:
* three-dimensional fabric manufacturing technology, from the Textile College of Donghua University of Shanghai;
