A THREE hundred-year-old book chronicling the Siege of Derry penned by the then governor of the city has failed to sell on Internet auction site ebay.
Reverend George Walker's ' A True Account of the Siege of London-Derry ', published in 1689, was listed on the web site last week with price set at [pounds sterling]584.99.
The seller, a book specialist based in London, describes the book - which is missing the last two pages - as being in relatively clean condition but does highlight the wear and tear more than three ...
