GOLD COAST, Nov 2 Asia Pulse - Gold Coast tourism officials are confident AirAsiaX's maiden flight into Australia's premier holiday destination tomorrow will create new opportunities for the booming city.
The Malaysian-based budget airline will initially operate four direct return services a week between Kuala Lumpur and the Gold Coast.
The maiden flight is expected to arrive at Gold Coast Airport at 7.40am (AEST) tomorrow and will carry 320 passengers, including high-level Malaysian government officials.
