TEENAGERS from a Mirfield charity travelled to India to work with children with sensory disabilities.
The five teenagers, members of the Mirfield Community Trust, went with nine other teenagers to Mamta Mindir school for blind, deaf and dumb children on India's west coast.
Trust administrator Geoff Wells said the teenagers had been preparing for the ten-day trip for four months, taking sing language lessons and even gaining a Community Sports Leaders Award.
