LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Churchill Downs (Nasdaq-SmallCap: CHDN) Board of Directors today voted to increase the minimum purse for the Kentucky Derby to $1 million guaranteed, and raise the minimum purse for the Kentucky Oaks to $500,000 guaranteed. Additionally, entry and starter fees for the Kentucky Derby were increased to $15,000 each. The board also approved a Stock Purchase Plan for Churchill Downs employees.
