MARTINA Hingis quit tennis last night after testing positive for cocaineat Wimbledon.
The 27-year-old star's shock announcement is a huge blow to a sport where theuse of stimulants is not common.
Hingis, a child prodigy who won five grand slam events, insisted she had nevertaken drugs and said she was retiring because she did not want to spend yearsfighting her case.
'I have tested positive but I have never taken drugs and I feel 100 per centinnocent,' she declared.
