Debut of Official Event Logo for 134(th) 'Run for the Roses' Kicks Off 'Halfway to Derby' Party

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Officials at Churchill Downs today unveiled the official event logo for the 134th edition of the world-famous Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (Grade I), which is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the legendary racetrack in Louisville, Ky. The logo unveiling marked the official kick-off to Churchill Downs' "Halfway to Derby" party, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 3. Churchill Downs is starting the six-month countdown to the 2008 Kentucky Derby with a variety of special on-track promotions, including live music and a hat contest.
