ANGUS Colts under-18 team, comprising young players from the four Angus clubs, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Montrose and Strathmore, travelled to Kirkcaldy on Saturday to play the in-form Kirkcaldy team.
These two outfits had met three weeks before at Carnoustie when the Fifers ran out easy winners, 53 - 0.
Straight from the kick off, Angus chased the Kirkcaldy receiver and the tackling was from the top drawer. It was obvious that the boys had been listening to head coach, Andy Sykes, during the week and they defended every ruck as if their lives depended on it.
