SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Opal, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPAL) announced that Siemens AG in Germany recently ordered four OPAL 7830i OperatorFree(TM) CD-SEMs -- Opal's third generation CD- SEM, for their $1.6 billion Dresden, Germany Fab. The first of the four systems shipped last week, Siemens previously purchased two OPAL 7830 systems, one in Perlach and one in Regensburg. This latest purchase gives Siemens a total of six OPAL CD-SEMs ordered over the last twelve months.
