PORTLAND, Maine -- The TD Banknorth Charitable Foundation and TD Banknorth Inc. today announced 51 grants totaling $1 million to support affordable housing initiatives in eight Northeastern states.
In the second year of its successful "Housing for Everyone" grant competition, TD Banknorth focused on transitional housing and homeless shelter space programs. TD Banknorth's donations will support the creation and preservation of nearly 1,000 affordable housing units across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, ...
