Erroneous Scientific consensus stifles progress
The constant barrage of articles, movies, legislation and quasi-religious fervor surrounding global warming made me wonder what naturally causes the earth's climate to periodically change. Why should one care? If we allow science to become politicized, then we are lost (Michael Crichton). When government policy is based on the misinformation of the few, the many will suffer.
Engineering and science must be above reproach to support societal decisions. The erroneous scientific consensus regarding global warming is a tool to eliminate necessary debate ...
