SCOTIA - When "Today" show host Matt Lauer goes live from Greenland this morning, two members of the 109th Airlift Wing at the Stratton Air National Guard Base may be at his side.
Capt. Jeffrey Quinn of Schenectady and Chief Master Sgt. Jerry Stoddard of Duanesburg are expected to be with Lauer, showing him how they dress for the elements and the emergency training they've received, such as constructing a snow shelter, Maj. Jody Ankabrandt, a spokeswoman for the 109th, said.
The morning show has sent Lauer to Greenland, Ann Curry to Antarctica and Al Roker to the equator in Ecuador to do the first ever ...
