COLUMN: IN OUR OPINION

Worcester has made substantial progress in stretching limited taxpayer dollars, improving the efficiency and responsiveness and maintaining core services in public safety, public works schools and other areas.

To keep the city on a positive course, voters tomorrow should cast their ballots for candidates for City Council and School Committee who have intelligence, independence, experience and the strength of character to stand firm on politically difficult decisions for the greater good of the community.
