DALLAS -- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Bibb County, Georgia, to provide its CLT property reappraisal services. The Bibb County Board of Commissioners approved the $1.85 million deal unanimously.
As part of the contract, Tyler will determine accurate 2009 property valuations for all taxable properties within Bibb County. The updated appraisals will enable the County to resolve its 2005 and subsequent tax digests. Correcting the digests through the assignment of accurate values, which is essential to providing local tax agencies throughout the County with revenue, is a top priority for Bibb County. The ...
