A HUSKY racer is hoping to whip up some much-needed funds for a children's charity, and is seeking sponsorship to help her along the way.
Gemma Sanderson, from Milfield, picked up the reins of a two-dog team after its Berwickshire-based owner was diagnosed with a tumour.
And she's now in training for the world-famous Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Aviemore Sled Dog Rally, which takes place in January 2008.
