Columbia University professor Madonna Constantine said she will not be "silenced" after a noose was found hanging from her office door.
"I'm upset that our community has been exposed to such an unbelievably vile incident," Constantine, a professor of psychology and education at Teachers College, told hundreds of supporters who held a protest rally at the university after the incident. She described the incident as a "blatant act of racism" and said it "reeks of cowardice and fear."
