Connecticut Public Radio will examine music education in the U.S. today in a nationally syndicated five-part series, The Music Education Project, for broadcast on 445 public radio stations.
The five-part series, produced by Phyllis Joffe, an award-winning independent radio and television producer and frequent contributor to National Public Radio news programs, will take listeners to schools, towns, and cities across the country to hear the sounds of music classes and performances, as well as the voices of parents, teachers, students, musicians, and researchers discussing current music education issues.
