Country music fans have honoured a Matlock-based singer who died while preparing for a gig.
Keith Manifold, who died in 2005, has become the first entertainer to be inducted in to the prestigious British Country Music Hall of Fame.
The institution, set up by Jim Duncan, editor of Cross Country Magazine, acknowledges talent, devotion, skill and belief in the grass roots of British country music.
A spokesman said: "After 40 years performing his death sent shockwaves through his large nationwide fanbase and the country music scene as a whole."
