CLEVELAND, June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Great Lakes Science Center took one giant step toward its grand opening today as a 96-foot, 28,000 pound dome structure was hoisted into place to cap the Museum's 325-seat OMNIMAX(R) Theater. The 14,000 square-foot domed theater will provide a 270-degree venue for viewing state-of-the-art movies with an emphasis on science and nature, and will boast the world's largest projection system.
