SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 1995--IMATRON INC. (NASDAQ:IMAT) the world's leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of Ultrafast CT(R) announced today that site development is now underway at its second HeartScan(TM) Coronary Artery Disease Risk Assessment Center.

HeartScan's first Coronary Artery Disease Risk Assessment facility opened in April in Seattle. The second center, HeartScan-Houston, is now in the construction phase and is scheduled to open in November of this year.
