Government investment in the British Library will rise from GBP92 million this year to GBP100 million in 2010/11 as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review, Culture Secretary James Purnell announced today.
The British Library's inflation-proof settlement means that this internationally-renowned institution will be able to reach still more people, and continue its work as a dynamic resource for its business, education and technology customers.
