A BRILLIANT recovery in the Knockout Cup final by Division One champions Woadman's Arms was the highlight of the night.

At 4-2 up Hat and Feathers A were on the brink of a shock win, but the cup holders stormed back to take the final three frames.

Dave Woods was made to work hard by Phil Turner to put Woadman's ahead.

Then the Sutton St James side levelled with a fantastic full length of the table double on the black by Chris Ripley against Jimmy Ball.

Woadman's dependable Shane Balding never looked in the next frame as Ashley Godfrey took complete control to give Hat and Feathers a 2-1 lead.
