TAIPEI, Nov 9 Asia Pulse - The 2007 Conference of the Institute for Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems in Asia (ILASS-Asia) opened Thursday in Taipei with the aim of exploring ways to enhance energy efficiency and cut the emission of pollutants.
The two-day event, organized by National Cheng Kung University and the Technology and Science Institute of Northern Taiwan, featured a keynote speech on "energy efficiency and the formation of pollutants in combustion engines" by Norman Chigier, a professor at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States and the editor-in-chief of Atomization and Spray Journal.
