Article: The 51st session of the 2007 UN CSW in the words of FEMNET's Chairperson/La 51eme Session de la commission des nations unies sur le statut de la femme (UN-CSW) 2007 dans les termes de la presidente de FEMNET.

Representatives from 45 member states to the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), observers and representatives from United Nations (UN) member and non--member states, as well as observers from intergovernmental organisations, non-governmental organisations and others took part in the 51st CSW Session held in New York from 26th February to 08th March 2007.

In accordance with paragraph 2 of Resolution 1987/21 of the UN Economic and Social Council, the members elected for the Bureau of the Commission serve for a two-year term. The following members, who had been elected at the fiftieth session, continued to sit at the fifty first session:
