In concluding the 51st Session of the UN Commission on the Stares of Women (CSW) governments, international financial institutions, international and regional organisations, civil society including the private sector, non-governmental organisations and academic institutions were urged to take the following actions:
1 The Commission on the Status of Women reaffirms the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, the outcome documents of the twenty-third special session of the General Assembly and the declaration adopted by the Commission on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women.
