The Cincinnati Ballet's fall concert, which will be performed Friday and Saturday at the Aronoff Center, downtown, will see the return of Cincinnati-born renowned dancer Suzanne Farrell.

Now retired from dancing -- since injuries sidelined her in 1989 after a stellar 28-year career mostly working with George Balanchine at the New York City Ballet -- Farrell brings her Washington, D.C.-based company to dance Balanchine's elegant 1976 work "Chaconne."

The Cincinnati Ballet dancers will join the Farrell company, founded in 2000, in this work that uses musical selections from Gluck's 18th- century opera on the Greek myth ...
