It is no secret that the UK has the highest teen pregnancy rate in western Europe, being twice that of Germany, three times that of France and over six times that of the Netherlands. Why is this happening?
I'm a teen mother. I had my son when I was 17, he is now five months old and in my time since becoming pregnant I have become painfully aware of the stereotypes.
I always knew these ideas existed but I had no idea quite how judgmental people can be.
However, since having my child I discovered that I don't notice the spiteful looks from passers-by any more.
