The JBM Envelope Company, Lebanon, Ohio, has been printing its customers' names, addresses, and logos onto small open-end latex envelopes for more than seven years. JBM prints most of the envelopes that it sells, and a lack of in-house imagesetting capabilities slowed and complicated this printing process. Even after JBM computerized its design process a number of years back, they continued to send their computer files on diskette to a local service bureau for films.
That all changed this past January when they added a LaserMaster PressMate imagesetter to their shop and began producing their films in-house without chemicals and without a darkroom. Now they are turning ...
