GARDNER - Police are investigating several leads in Wednesday's bank robbery, including similarities in wording of a note passed during an August robbery at a bank in Leominster.
Fidelity Bank at 330 Main St. was robbed of $3,289 by a man wearing a baseball cap and a fake moustache who passed a note demanding $10,000 and warning the clerk to stay calm and not to include dye packs in with the money or set off the alarms, "or bodies will drop."
In August, the TD Banknorth branch at Shaw's Supermarket in Watertower Plaza in Leominster was robbed by a man who also passed a note demanding money and warning the clerk to stay calm ...
