Exercise is a catchword in a fit-conscious society.
And evidence is continuing to mount in the U.S. showing the health benefits that can be achieved with regular exercise. But in some instances exercise may not be beneficial.
"Exercise is very important because it not only takes care of your obvious physical attributes, it also takes care of your overall body--the heart, the lungs, the whole cardiovascular system," explained Dr. B. David Blake, chief resident physician at Morehouse School of Medicine's Dept. of Family Medicine.
