MANILA, Nov 12 Asia Pulse - The Philippine mineral products commodity sector posted in September 2007 its highest export earnings for this year's third quarter.
National Statistics Office (NSO) said such earnings that month soared to US$227.73 million from August US$114.59 million and US$144.51 million in July.
NSO also noted mineral products September 2007 earnings grew 18.62 per cent from US$191.99 million a year earlier.
This was due to an increase in outward shipments of copper metal, the agency said, citing latest available data.
NSO data showed revenues from this commodity group accounted for some 5.2 per cent of the Philippines ...
