A development consortium is joining forces with a major Korean corporation to create a 929,000 s/f international merchandise mart opposite the AirTrain terminal in Jamaica.

The $260 million center is the first economic development project to follow in the footsteps of the historic rezoning of a 368-block area of Downtown Jamaica on September 10.

With the assistance and encouragement of the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, JFK Center Associates will work with Korea-based Prime to develop the 13-story Techno Mart Queens, a retail and wholesale center expected to employ approximately 3,000 people.
