AGRICULTURE SECURITY. A bill (S. 544) introduced by Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) would provide tax credits for retailers who sell agricultural products to help them pay for security provisions.
A retailer of agricultural products and chemicals or a manufacturer or distributor of certain pesticides would be able to claim tax credits of up to 30 percent of certain security costs. Qualified expenses would include employee security training and background checks, ...
