(Nasdaq: MSFT) today announced it has shipped Microsoft(R) Systems Management Server version 1.1, which provides centralized management for distributed systems. This new version is an ideal deployment solution for customers migrating to the Windows(R) 95 operating system and Microsoft Office for Windows 95 by providing automated installations. In addition, version 1.1 provides new features requested by customers to provide easier operation, improved control of distributed systems, and enhanced interoperability in heterogeneous environments.
