Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti couldn't stop smiling Saturday.
And who could blame him?
With a few key halftime tweaks, most notably a decision to ramp up the pressure from all over the field to disrupt the timing of Arizona State quarterback Rudy Carpenter, the Ducks (8-1 overall, 5-1 Pac-10) were able to win the second half and bring down the sixth-ranked Sun Devils, 35-23.
