What James Howlett and Brad Huff are talking about in "Industrial Arts/Technology: What Are We Doing?" (June) is not news. In the late 1970s and 1980s, largely through the efforts of Barbara Price, science and mathematics credit was being given for vocational courses in two major school districts in California. Unfortunately, the concept did not spread.
