Second Annual Event Set to Feed 400 Homeless Long Islanders
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, Nov. 15, Davis Vision and members of the New York Jets Women's Organization (JWO) are joining forces to bring an early Thanksgiving meal to 400 people in need. The meal was sponsored by the Interfaith Nutrition Network (the INN), a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization on Long Island, NY, which addresses the problems of hunger and homelessness.
