MANHATTAN -- A Kansas State University doctoral student has been recognized with a national award to support her research in nutritional epidemiology.
Allisha Weeden, doctoral student in human nutrition, St. Francis, is the recipient of the Jean Hankin Nutritional Epidemiology Research Grant from the American Dietetic Association. The award was presented at the association's recent 2007 Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo in Philadelphia.
