Having been involved in softball pitching as a player, coach, and instructor since 1977, I have been articulating the tools that I use in my classes at the Extra Innings Academy in Evansville, IN.

My initial article last year dwelt on the use of Poles in the development of both my beginner and advanced pitchers. As we progress to our next class, we introduce a series of Bracket drills.
Made of 1 inch square metal pipes, they come in four heights--14", 20", 26", and 34"--that enable us to adjust to our students.
