Two men who carried out a spate of early-morning robberies at Tesco Express stores have both been given lengthy prison sentences.
Reuben Craven and Ian Jones, who targeted stores in Kenilworth, Tamworth and Nuneaton, had denied conspiracy to rob, but were convicted by a jury at Warwick Crown Court after a trial last month.
At Coventry Crown Court, Craven, 22, of Coventry, was given an indeterminate sentence for the public protection.
Judge Christopher Hodson said that, based on the 14-year sentence he would otherwise have passed, Craven will have to serve six years and 141 days before the Parole Board can consider releasing him and, when he is ...
