THREE Borders businesses are in the running for awards in Scotland's Best Rural Retailer competition, writes Bob Burgess.
But traders from the central and western Borders are missing - all three are from Berwickshire.
Cockburnspath Post Office, Borders Fayre in Duns and St Vedas Hotel at Coldingham are all through to the final stages of the prestigious competition organised by the Scottish Countryside Alliance.
