Snoring is more than a nuisance to those who share your bed, your room, or your home. It isn't always an indication of some other health disorder, but a study published in the March 2007 issue of the journal CHEST found that sleep disruptions in otherwise healthy adults is associated with increased blood clotting--a predictor of cardiovascular disease.
Snoring may be an indicator of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which has been associated with high blood pressure, stroke, and heart failure.
