AURORA, Ill. -- Cabot Microelectronics Corporation (NASDAQ: CCMP), the world leader in shaping, enabling and enhancing the performance of surfaces, announced today that it has received a "Best in Value" Supplier Appreciation Award from Samsung Electronics for excellence in technology support, as a supplier of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) polishing slurries. The award was presented to Cabot Microelectronics at Samsung's Supplier Appreciation Day last month in California.
