ANYONE CONVERSANT with Francophone Studies over the past four decades would know Eric Sellin. Founder in 2981 of the Centre d'Etudes sur la Litterature Francophone de l'Afrique du Nord (CELFAN), he is one of the pioneer critics of francophone letters. Emeritus Professor at Tulane University, Sellin currently lives in his hometown of Philadelphia, where he continues to publish and do public readings of his poems at such places as HiNgE Online and the Alliance Francaise.
