NEW YORK, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Postal Officials of the South American nation of Guyana have released a series of postage stamps saluting Disney's new animated film "Pocahontas." Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation (IGPC), acting as agents for the Guyana government worked with the Walt Disney Company to produce this unique postage issue. The issue consists of eight, vibrantly colored stamps depicting each major character from the film, in addition to a single special commemorative souvenir sheet featuring Meeko and Flit. These authorized legal tender postage stamps are valid for mailing letters and packages from this northern South American republic of Guyana to ...
