SWIMMER Miles Anderson, 11, has won a national award to mark the sporting achievements he has made despite living with haemophilia.
Miles won the senior section of the Haemophilia Society Sports Awards at a ceremony at Chelsea Football Club.
Haemophilia is a condition that prevents the blood from clotting properly, causing bleeding into the joints and muscles.
This means children with haemophilia need to avoid injury more than other children.
Miles, a pupil at Monks Dyke Technology College in Louth, has to have regular injections of medication to help his blood clot.
He has been swimming since he was one and competes for Grimsby Santa Marina club.
