WHILE WE LIKE GATEWAY'S latest foray into the all-in-one category, we're not sure the Gateway One will stem the sales momentum of Apple's iMac anytime soon. What we can foresee happening, though, is Gateway's design innovations eventually leading PC users to rethink their setups--just as Mac users have had to over the last decade.
For us and our $1,799 test unit, the changes started with the power brick, which doubles as the system's connectivity center.
