Prince Fielder's chance to win his first National League MVP award in just his second full season apparently faded down the stretch much like his team, the Milwaukee Brewers, did in the 2007 season. But don't think Fielder went unnoticed.
The Brewers first baseman was one of three players to be named on all 32 ballots in the voting by members of the Baseball Writers' Association of America. Fielder finished behind winner Jimmy Rollins of the Philadelphia Phillies and Colorado left fielder Matt Holliday Tuesday.
